Double-Nosed Andean Tiger Hound

There is a rare breed of dog in the Amazon basin that has 2 noses. It's called the doubled-nose Andean Tiger hound. The Andean Tiger hound is a hunting dog valued for its keen sense of smell. You can find them in Bolivia. Many people believe the double nose increases their scent discrimination abilities; however, there is no research to indicate whether the double nose is a benefit or a hindrance. The "double nose" appears to be a normal dog's nose, but with the nostrils separated by a band of skin and fur dividing the nose all the way to the dog's upper lip.

If you wish to learn more about the Andean Tiger hound then go to http://www.wikipedia.org/ then search up Andean Tiger hounds.
